A pastor in Edo State, Nigeria was among 32 suspected
criminals paraded by the state Police Command for various crimes.
Pastor Eze who hails from Enugu State allegedly confessed to
defiling two girls aged 11 years the same day, but told newsmen that he was
forgiven of the crime by one of his victim’s father in 2012.
The state Commissioner of Police, Foluso Adebanjo who paraded
the suspects lamented rising cases of defilement of minors in the state and
called on members of the public to assist the command with useful information,
in its fight against criminal elements.
“We have about 32 suspects that we are parading, including
kidnappers and those involved in defilement of girl-child; this is something
that is very disturbing, which is rearing its head in Edo State and we will not
allow them go free.
Pastor narrating his story said: “It was sometime last year
which was when the two girls (Joy and Anthonia) came to my house. It was Joy
that brought Anthonia to my house. It was the same day that I had sex with them
