FLP pays N1.5bn to distributors in 5 months

“Forever transforms lives,” was how he started his speech at this year’s Success Showcase event of Forever Living Products (FLP), held in the Coal City of Enugu State.
FLP’s Managing Director, Nigeria/Benin Republic, Mr. Cornelius Tay told the gathering that the company had paid out over N1.5 billion in the first 5 months of 2013 in bonuses to distributors.
Describing the Enugu Success Rally as the most lively gathering of distributors of the multi-level marketing company, Tay said the presence of wives of deputy governors of Enugu State, Mrs. Nneka Onyebuchi, Dr. (Mrs.) Mina Tele Ikuru (Rivers State) and Mrs. Glory Effiok Cobham (Cross River State) added more colour to the event.

He said the company now has huge distributorship in Enugu, Abakaliki, Awka, Port Harcourt, Benin-City, Calabar, Nsukka, Nnewi, Owerri, Aba, Abuja and Warri, putting the Nigeria as number four on the global map.
He said when the company decided to open a distribution center in Enugu, the management was aware of the competitive environment in the city. “Now, the competitors must find their level…the superior, premium brand have returned to Enugu. Water must find its level,” he declared, advising families in the eastern region to take full advantage of FLP’s presence.
He revealed that the Chairman and Founder of FLP International Inc. Mr. Rex Maughan, founded the company 35 years ago, with a mission to return man to nature and source the best natural ingredients to ensure people would be healthy and live longer lives. “With the use scientific methods and advanced technology, variety of unique products are made available through a network of independent distributors who connect people everywhere and reward hard work,” he said.
Wife of Enugu State deputy governor, Mrs. Nneka Onyebuchi said bringing the Success Showcase to Enugu means a lot to the people of the state. “It will open the FLP business further here. People will come to know and appreciate the fact that Forever products are the best products in the world today. They are superior products, they are quality products and above all, they are natural products,” she said.
FLP Sapphire Manager and wife of the deputy governor of Rivers State, Dr. Mina Tele Ikuru, said she involves more in business, entrepreneurship and mentoring than her the medical practice, since she became a Forever distributor. “I am Founder and Creative Director of Efsy Moti Designs, one of the top-most fashion industries in the country. We have had beautiful Success Showcase events in the past in Port Harcourt, but I must tell you that one thing I have noticed about Forever is that when testimonies are repeated, they continue to sound new because you hear different ideas and points of view on each product or network marketing principles. Each person has his own story. Every person standing to talk about the same things, discussing from different perspectives; but by the way they understand the product and the principles. These add more meaning each day and everyday to the business. Everyday, the knowledge you gain from your own source is improved upon.”
Ms Njideka Asuzu, FLP Assistant Manager and Pharmacist, spoke extensively on the heart friendly product, `Forever Arctic Sea', providing in depth analysis on the dangers of excess cholesterol that blocks human arteries leading to the collapse of blood streams.
She said the product, made from deep sea fish, will provide the essential fatty acids with Vitamins B and E for a perfect balance for the treatment of heart diseases and checks problems that lead to kidney failure.
Port Harcourt-based FLP Sapphire Manager, Mrs. Eunice Babatunde described the event in Enugu as mind-blowing. She said Enugu had developed beyond their wildest expectation and that the future of the business belonged to such places. On what could be done to check the problems of proliferation of multi level marketing and competition in the state, Mrs. Babatunde said what was important was awareness.
