3 killed over Army general’s cows

 

Three persons were yesterday killed in Fadan Kaje, Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State over an alleged attempt to steal a retired Army General’s cows.

Confirming the incident, the State Commissioner of Police, Olufemi Adenaike said, “three people were actually killed, but they were thieves who attempted to steal cows.”

However, the identity of the retired General, who owns the cows could not yet be ascertained.

According to eyewitness, the villagers caught up with the suspected cow thieves and killed them instantly based on similar incidents that some cows in the area had over the years got missing without knowing, who was responsible.

Also, as at the time of filing this report, the identity of those who attempted to steal the cows could not be ascertained.
