Fire on Thursday gutted Coscharis Group of Companies in
Kikiri, Lagos, destroying products worth billions of naira.
The fire that began at about 3am was said to have gutted the
company’s warehouse on Coscharis Street, Kirikiri, Apapa.
The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the group, Mr. Cosmas
Maduka was said to have rode on a power bike to the scene.
Maduka was said to be shaking his head as he moved around to
see the extent of the damage done by the fire.
Maduka later went back to one of his offices opposite the
scene but ordered the security men on duty that he would not like to speak with
any journalist.
His wife was said to have also visited the scene.
No life was lost.
