MTN rewards 17 Muslims with Hajj trips

In living up to its commitment to rewarding its loyal customers, MTN is set to offer 17 Muslims all expense paid trip to the Holy land of Mecca, after their numbers were selected at a draw in Lagos.
The lucky winners will be hosted to a send-forth meeting by MTN, before flying out of the country for the pilgrimage. The meeting will include an orientation and presentation of necessary travel visas and allowances. The 17 customers were drawn from different parts of the country.

The Chief Marketing Officer, MTN, Larry Annetts, speaking through a representative, Saidat Lawal-Mohammed, Senior Manager, Segment Marketing, MTN, said: “MTN understands that there are different aspirations of its customers, different desires, so, MTN decided to offer this as a reward to some of its customers, who subscribed to some of the Islamic Value-Added Services during the just-ended Ramadan period.
MTN believes that, as a brand, it is important to support the aspirations of its teeming subscribers. Last year, in addition to rewarding customers with the Hajj trip, MTN distributed 100,000 free MTN two-in-one and single SIMs, 20,000 waist money pouches to would be pilgrims in the Hajj camps across the country. The company also offered free calls, SMS and discounted roaming rates to pilgrims in the holy land,” he said.
He said for four years running MTN has been assisting pilgrims in achieving one of their spiritual aspirations, adding that the company has, so far, assisted more than 70 Muslim faithful, on its wide network to the Holy land.
