The struggle for Biafra continues - Uwazuruike

The leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, has reiterated that the agitation for the realization of the sovereign state of Biafra cannot be abandoned.
The MASSOB leader who was quoted in a statement signed by the deputy National Director of Information, Mazi Chris Muocha, said: “I cannot abandon Biafra. The struggle is on course, any tribe wishing to remain in Nigeria can do so but MASSOB will remain committed to the non violent actualization of independent Biafra.”
Also the MASSOB Director of Information, Uchenna Madu in  a separate statement, said that the movement under the leadership of Chief Uwazuruike is ever committed to the actualization of an independent state of Biafra.
He explained that the parley between MASSOB leadership and other groups in the Nigeria Federation was a deeper dimension to the struggle, adding that Biafra’s independence cannot be achieved in isolation.
Madu who was reacting to the reported peace pact signed by the leader of the group in Owerri, noted that, “the individuals that visited the MASSOB leader in Imo State were core agitators who do not believe in Nigeria and the outcome of their meeting will further the agitation for Biafra.”
Describing MASSOB as the most formidable organization in Africa, the group’s image maker, urged Ndigbo to remain committed to the Biafran course.
