No fewer than 42 people were reported to
have died in Zamfara State following attack by cattle rustlers in some
parts of the state.
This was disclosed in Gusau by the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ibrahim while briefing newsmen in his office.
According to him, his command, during the multiple attack also
recovered 996 cows and 515 sheep in the last 73 days in the state.
He explained that his men, who were always on red alert recovered 14
guns, 87 live ammunition and 16 motorcycles from the hoodlums.
