Medical doctor rapes patient in makurdi

A medical personnel believed to be a practising medical doctor has been arrested by the men of the Benue State Police Command for raping a female patient who was on admission in the hospital.

The alleged rapist (name withheld), is a medical practitioner with Tersoo Clinic located in Naka town of Gwer West local government area of Benue State.
It was gathered that the medical doctor had reportedly tested positive to dreaded HIV/AIDs and was receiving Anti Retroviral (ARV) drugs at the General Hospital Naka, before the incident occurred.
It was gathered that the female patient was brought to the clinic for emergency medical attention and had recovered partially before the randy doctor pounced on her.
The police public relations officer (PPRO), DSP Daniel Ezeala confirmed the incident and said that the medical doctor had been arrested in Naka and investigation into the matter was ongoing.
