The separation of one couple has brought together another. On the same day that Kris and Bruce Jenner announced their separation, Khloé Kardashian
and Lamar Odom — who have been the topic of their own divorce rumors —
were photographed out together for the first time in four months.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and the troubled
basketball pro were snapped cruising in a white Mercedes-Benz SUV in
Calabasas, California, on Tuesday. They were not far from the home of
her mom, Kris, which suggests that they were there to offer the
matriarch moral support.

If it was a sweet reunion for Khloé and Lamar, you can't tell from
the photos. The 29-year-old brunette, who was behind the wheel, had on
her best poker face during the drive. He seemed slightly more relaxed
and appeared to be talking to her.
Of note, the SUV is a similar make and model to the one Lamar, 33, was driving when he was arrested
on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in
August. The NBA star — who is reportedly battling a drug problem, but
has only alluded to a "dark time" publicly — subsequently had his driver's license suspended
for one year, making it apparent why he was riding shotgun. (A lawyer
for Lamar entered a not guilty plea to the DUI charges on Wednesday
morning. A pretrial date has been set for next month.)
This is the first paparazzi photo we've seen of the two together
since June 2. They have been living separately — with Lamar crashing in
an apartment in downtown L.A. — though he has visited their shared home.
While the exact status of things between them now is unclear (their
problems seem unresolved), Khloé posted a cryptic message about love —
and a "ride til the end" — on Twitter the same day.
"Not all scars can be seen and not all love can be explained," tweeted
the star, who continues to wear her wedding ring. "The deepest love is
also the hardest to express. Only those in it, understand."
"If I love u. Its a deep 4ever love. Ride til the end," continued Khloé, who has been leaning on pal The Game
for support during this difficult time. "Family/friend.Its simply
called love. I take it seriously. Dont judge unless u r in it."
She ended by writing,
"We all have our own journeys in life. So even if u don't accept mine.
Be kind....We all have a journey 2travel & I want to walk mine, my
way."
One thing is for sure, Khloé has a firm grip on the wheel — and the direction she heads in is up to her.
